WhatsApp rolling out Manage emoji replacement feature for Windows

keep WhatsApp more secure

WhatsApp is rolling out a new Manage emoji replacement feature for Windows. This new addition will allow users to disable or enable the replace text with emoji capability, to enhance the messaging experience, and offer users more control over what they are sending.

With the beta version 2.2350.3.0, WhatsApp has dispatched a Manage emoji replacement feature, that allows users to disable text-to-emoji replacement, to reduce the risk of sending emojis. It also ensures that the original intent and tone of their messages remain intact.

It happens sometimes, when emoji replacements may not convince users, and they might prefer the clarity and precision of their chosen symbols without automatic alterations. In addition, users may prefer to keep the text they enter rather than automatic emoji replacements.

However, the feature is currently live for some beta testers and will be available to public users in the coming days. To access this feature, open the app settings and the general tab to see if the toggle to manage replacing text with emoji is available to your account.
