According to the information of TheElec, Samsung may ditch the Plus model of the Galaxy S24 lineup and there will be only two models Galaxy S24 standard and Galaxy S24 Ultra. It means the Galaxy S23 Plus could be the last plus model for consumers to get their hands on.
The reason behind removing this plus model from the series could be the unpopularity of the variant. Additionally, the Korean tech giant must have intent to focus on its Ultra and Vanilla model so that it can convey profit to facilitate the market gap from Apple.
Moving on, the report also suggests that the Galaxy S24 series Development Project ‘DM’ includes DM1 and DM3 development projects, and, there’s no sign of DM2, which clearly means that the company is not developing plus model for the upcoming lineup.
However, if this information comes out to be true then this will be a breach of the tradition that the company is following for four years with the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S23, and Galaxy S23 lineup. But there must be something interesting that the company conveys with its two-device series.
