Spotted by informant Mukul Sharma, the Indian authority certification of the Exynos 1380 mobile platform reveals that it will offer Bluetooth 5.3 support via a separate RF chip called Samsung Bluetooth Controller v6.
It may also come with a fully integrated 5G modem that supports both mmWave and sub-6GHz connections. Other than that, there is no further information about the product. However, the certification body hinted that Samsung will launch soon.
Also, since the Exynos 1280 is used in the Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A53, we expect the Exynos 1380 to be used in the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 as well. In addition to these phones, Samsung may use the chipset in other non-flagship devices in the future, including the Galaxy F and Galaxy M series smartphones.
On the other hand, the BIS certification body further revealed that the South Korean company is working on another low-cost Exynos processor called the Exynos 1330. This is the first time we’ve heard of this chipset, it is also reported to feature Bluetooth 5.3 support via a separate RF chip called Samsung Bluetooth Controller v6.
