Top 3 Key Points:

  1. Samsung acknowledges sound quality issues with Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and plans a software update to fix them.
  2. Galaxy Watch 4 series receives the fourth One UI 6 Watch beta update with Global AOD and other enhancements.
  3. The stable One UI 6 Watch update may soon be available for all older Wear OS Galaxy Watches.

Samsung has identified an issue affecting the sound quality of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, specifically when users disable the “Concert Hall” feature in the Sound Assistant app. Users have reported that the sound becomes muffled and distorted, particularly in bass-heavy music. This problem seems to be software-related, as it doesn’t affect hardware or other devices like the 2nd generation AirPods.

Samsung has assured users that a fix is in the works and will be included in an upcoming software update for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Until then, users are advised to keep the “Concert Hall” feature turned off to avoid sound issues.

Galaxy Watch 4 Receives New One UI 6 Watch Beta with Global AOD

Samsung has rolled out the fourth One UI 6 Watch beta update for the Galaxy Watch 4 series, introducing several enhancements, including a new Global Always On Display (AOD) feature. This update, which also includes performance and battery life improvements, is available in South Korea and is expected to reach other regions soon.

The new Global AOD feature enhances the watch’s display by allowing users to see previously viewed content, such as Tiles, even when the watch is in AOD mode. The update also brings system speed optimizations and improved app launch times.

As Samsung has already released multiple beta updates for its Galaxy Watch 4, 5, and 6 series, it’s likely that a stable One UI 6 Watch update will soon be available for all Wear OS Galaxy Watches older than the Galaxy Watch 7.

The Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra are the first smartwatches to come with Wear OS 5 pre-installed, ahead of competitors like the Pixel Watch 3.
