The Korean tech giant is expected to unveil the Galaxy S24 series in January 2024, and the devices will come pre-installed with the next iteration of Samsung’s Android custom skin. However, the Samsung One UI 6.1 is expected to come with some new battery protection features.
Based on the Android 14 One UI 6.1 software version will bring several optimizations and some AI-derived battery protection features, these offerings will be initially available on Samsung Galaxy S24 series models and then further expanded to more eligible devices.
According to TarunVats, Basic mode will stop charging at 100% and resume at 95%. The Adapt mode pauses at 80% while you sleep, and finishes before you wake. Whereas, the Max mode stops charging at 80% to keep the battery life of your Galaxy device stable.
