Samsung silently given Image Clipper to Galaxy A33 5G

Samsung Galaxy A33

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G has recently started getting the May 2023 security patch in select markets. However, the company is also rolling out a large firmware update for the Galaxy A33 5G smartphone, which brings the Image Clipper feature and April 2023 security patch.

According to the info, Samsung is releasing a huge software, weighing about 1GB, to the Galaxy A33 5G, which includes the Image Clipper feature from the Galaxy S23 flagship and April 2023 Android patches. Consumers can identify the major OTA via PDA build number – A336BXXU5CWD1.

Since the update rollout is gradually happening in Europe, we recommend consumers wait until the software officially comes. A manual firmware install would bring you the feature immediately, but you will have to deal with the frustrating steps of backup and restore.

Once installed, your Galaxy device will let you create sticker-like cutouts from the images stored in the Samsung Gallery app. To do so, just open the Gallery app, open a photo having a subject to the clip, then press and hold for a while so AI can do the rest. Now, you will get options to save, and share the cutout.
