At CES 2024, Samsung showcased its eco-conscious efforts in the sustainability zone and highlighted how sustainability is driving business activities. The Sustainability Zone featured recycled plastic walls that were built using r-ABS and r-PP, materials.

r-ABS is material developed by Samsung’s Circular Economy Labmade using recycled Styrofoam that comes from inside Samsung product packaging, while r-PP is made by recycling various by-products generated during the production of household goods.

There was also a circular Workshop, that provided visitors a closer look at the entire product lifecycle of the Galaxy Book4, Neo QLED 8K, and BESPOKE AI Washer. The Korean tech giant also unveiled an even more advanced version of SmartThings Energy.

Furthermore, the attendees were given a glimpse at a new remote function with condensed key functionalities and a more accessible design, allowing users to control their TVs with the SmartThings app on their smartphones.
