Samsung expanding the improvements of the December 2022 Android security patch update to more users of Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. This latest firmware is currently rolled out for Indian users of the device and it will expand to the remaining owners soon.
Moving toward the crucial information, the December 2022 firmware update has arrived with One UI build version N980FXXS5GVK9 and N980FXXS5GVK9 for Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra respectively, also the update carries a package of around 194.41MB.
The December 2022 security update will improve the security and stability of your smartphone and it will also protect your phone from bugs and viruses. Other than this there’s nothing that the official changelog mentioned for your device.
However, if you are operating Galaxy Note 20 or the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra as your daily driver then you must have received the update on your phone. In case you don’t receive it yet, then you can check for it manually by visiting Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.

- Do not forget to reboot your phone once the installation gets completed.
- Make sure that your device should be charged 30% or above.
- Your device should have sufficient storage.
- It will not harm your files, but we recommend taking a backup of your important data.
