Samsung fans looking for the new Galaxy Watch FE (Fan Edition) might rightly be expecting a flat-sided ball cap with a big S on the front, but they would be wrong. There’s speculation that it will be closer to budget, but other sources with more legitimacy report that it’s just going to be a refreshed Galaxy Watch 4 (not the FE version of the smartwatch).
The reimagined Galaxy Watch 4 Series (2024) edition without the “FE” letters indicates a more affordable option. While everything else remains a mystery, it could still run on the kind of hardware that was shown in the latest Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) model. In other words, you can not only stay in touch with other people but also switch to a new computer model that loads the latest chip and software versions.
It is not clear when exactly this watch will be delivered. The Tab S6 Lite was introduced to the market quite vaguely, and even with the Watch 4 (2024), we can’t count on the upcoming event as its unveiling platform. It may appear on shelves on or before November 22. Additionally, setting space can also be provided on the same day as the event or even thereafter.
Here’s a speculative look at the possibilities: It’s also worth mentioning that the Exynos W930 chip that the Galaxy Watch 6 is using could be the W940 chip that Samsung previously used in the Watch 3 series while the Watch 7 (2024) will have a W930 chip. The chip may have a performance improvement. In addition to the new versions and software extensions of One UI Watch 5, it will also have enhanced software support in the future.
Samsung may well promote the release of Galaxy Watch 4 in 2024, which could be the best option for Samsung smartwatch enthusiasts who cannot pay that much and would prefer a Samsung product at a lower price.
