Samsung has now released Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta 2 for the Galaxy S22 series phones in the US. The updated version builds on the ZVH4 and brings some new features as well as fixes for various bugs and issues.

After Germany and South Korea, Samsung officially opened the Android 22-based One UI 5 beta program for the Galaxy S5 series in the US via RPRNA. For now, only the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are eligible for beta testing in all the respective markets.

While the Korean tech giant has opened One UI 5 beta activity in the US, there is no confirmation regarding the per-carrier availability for the Galaxy S22 series. Consumers with models unlocked with T-Mobile carriers can install Samsung Android 13 beta firmware,
Last year, T-Mobile and Sprint were the only US carriers to offer One UI beta programs for their branded Galaxy devices. Things may remain the same this year. Customers from both USA carriers are likely to be eligible for the One UI 5 beta program shortly.
Samsung One UI 5 beta comes with a host of new features and optimizations over One UI 4.1. As this is an early build, the company may have reserved some features that will be released with future beta updates for Galaxy devices.
If you want to join the One UI 5 beta program in the US, simply open the Samsung Members app on your Galaxy S22 series smartphone. Now, tap the bell icon to expand Notifications where you should see the One UI Beta Program registration banner.
Once you hit the banner, it will show you the One UI 5 Beta Program terms and conditions, only if you have logged in with your real Samsung account. Fill in the required details, agree to the beta terms and conditions and that’s it! Samsung will now push the Android 13 beta within an hour.
