Samsung One UI 6.1 Live Translation feature might not be limited to Galaxy devices

Based on Android 14 the One UI 6.1 is going to be the next iteration of Samsung custom skin, which comes pre-installed on the Galaxy S24 series and it will further be expanded to more eligible Galaxy models to let more users enjoy its prominent functionalities.

The upcoming version of One UI will bring various AI-powered elements and Samsung’s Android custom skin feature usually remains limited to Galaxy devices. But this time among all the elements the Live Call Translation feature of One UI 6.1 seems to work beyond Samsung devices.

According to the information, the AI Live Translate Call feature might not be restricted to Galaxy devices, which means the translation feature may work when the user is talking to someone using a non-Samsung phone or we can say an iOS-running Apple device.

In addition, the feature will initially support English and Spanish language, and the company will sequentially bring support to more languages such as Korean and Japanese.
