With the latest custom skin, One UI 5.0 powered on the thirteenth generation operating system, Samsung has brought a lot of changes and customizations for users. However, a major change is been noticed in the Notification Settings menu.

One UI 5.0 Notification settings have received a major change compared to the previous UI which is One UI 4.1. So here in this article, we are going to catch all the changes that the South Korean tech giant has brought for its Galaxy users.

Firstly, to dive into the Notification settings, just visit the Settings of your Galaxy device, now tap on the Notification menu which is just below the Sound and vibration option. Once enter the Notification menu you will notice a significant change.

Notification pop-up styles which show two options as Brief and Detailed are not available in the home page of One UI 5.0 Notification settings. Do not worry they are not missing, the only thing is that the Korean tech giant has placed them somewhere else to make the screen look clear and neat.

In One UI 5.0, Notification settings page you will see the first option as App notification, from there you will be able to choose the apps from which you want to receive notifications. Simultaneously, you will be able to pause the notification of some apps with just one click on the toggle.

Moving on, there is one more option indicated as a Lock screen notification after visiting this menu, you will be able to choose whether you want to see the notification on the lock screen or not. There are some more options are also given like show notifications on AOD, and hiding the content.

Further, there is an option for Notification pop up style which is a customized name for Brief pop-up settings, inside this menu, you will see the options which were missing from the home page of Notification settings and it further includes features like Edge lighting style, color by keyboard and more.

The One UI 5.0 doesn’t sum up here, it also includes some more options like Do not disturb and Advanced settings from where you can enter the advanced notification setting section and perform some more advanced actions which the One UI 5.0 offers.
