The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 come with Android 12L/12-based One UI version 4.1.1, with multitasking features. Now, Samsung has reportedly confirmed that the One UI 4.1.1 update with advanced multitasking features is coming to older foldable in early September.

Samsung Europe’s chief marketing officer announced that shipments of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 have doubled compared to the previous models in the European market. In addition, the report mentions that the company will introduce new features to older foldable phones in early September.
As of now, Samsung’s One UI 4.1.1 update is available for the Galaxy Tab S8 series devices, while Verizon has rolled out the same update for the Galaxy S22 series devices. Since One UI 4.1.1 is focused on enhancing the usability of foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 may get it soon.
“For users of previous versions of the foldable phones, the company said it will begin providing software updates in early September, reports KoreaTimes.”

Android 12 update ensures that you can peek right through your pop-overs by touching and holding the screen around them. Doing this will turn pop-overs temporarily transparent so that you can see the rest of the app behind them.
