Samsung launched a new smartphone Galaxy Buddy 2 in the South Korean market. In terms of looks and design, it is a rebadged variant of the Galaxy M23 and Galaxy F23, which were earlier launched in select markets outside South Korea.
The device packs a Snapdragon 750G processor, a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate, along with a 50MP triple rear camera setup. Apart from these highlighting features, the Galaxy Buddy 2 smartphone brings Android 12-based One UI 4.1 out of the box.

Display:
As previously reported by gizmochina, the Samsung Galaxy Buddy 2 phone comes with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a teardrop notch, FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Camera:
On the camera front, the Galaxy Buddy 2 packs a 50MP primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor, along with an 8MP selfie camera.
Performance:
Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G chipset, the Galaxy Buddy 2 smartphone can be purchased in South Korea in 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variants.
Battery, charging:
Its massive 5,000mAh battery can last all day, however, you will be able to charge it via a 25W fast charger. Following the trend, the Buddy 2 also features a fingerprint scanner on the side for biometric authentication.
Other specs:
Additional specs include 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C port, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack, while it measures 165.5 x 77 x 8.4mm and weighs 198 grams.
Price:
Last but not least, currently, the Galaxy Buddy 2 smartphone can be purchased in South Korea for just KRW 399,300 (approximately $305). Available colors include Deep Green, Light Blue, and Orange Copper.
