Samsung Keyboard will get some AI enhancements with One UI 6.1

With each passing day, we are getting closer to the launch of the Galaxy S24 series, and the AI features, that these upcoming devices will hold continue to catch the attention of users. Meanwhile, a recent leak indicates that One UI 6.1 will also bring some AI enhancements to the Samsung Keyboard.

According to the information, a Samsung remote test lab, which lets developers test their apps on Galaxy devices, is offering Galaxy S23 users access to run the upcoming iteration of One UI. Notably, Samsung has also begun One UI 6.1 testing on the Galaxy S23 model.

However, one user shared a clip, in which the Samsung Keyboard app is fueled with the “Gen Ai model” on Galaxy S23 Ultra running One UI 6.1 internal Beta. The new section allows you to pick the preferred AI model among PaLM2, GPT4, Gecko, and Scs.

In addition, users could also be able to pick a translation model from the two options available  LLM (large language model) and on-device. Do you know, what’s the best part? The on-device AI feature will not require a network/internet connection to get things done.
