Samsung Internet 19 Beta

Samsung Internet Beta version 19 brings a slew of improvements related to privacy, private browsing, smart anti-tracking, and more. Through this beta update, you can enjoy the features of the upcoming stable build of Samsung Internet.

Improved Smart Anti-Tracking

With Samsung Internet Browser 17 beta, the company released an AI-powered smart anti-tracking feature. After that, the company improved this functionality with Beta 18.0. Now, the company is further rolling out the Smart Anti-Tracking feature, allowing it to detect domains that collude with classified trackers and apply for protection immediately.

Enhanced Phishing Detection

Lookalike Enhanced Phishing Detection is designed to warn users when they inadvertently navigate to a site they think is a trusted site but a fraudulent site with a similar URL, so they do not reveal personal information to malicious actors.

New Privacy Info Feature

Now, users can easily check their tracking security with a new privacy information feature. By clicking on the lock icon in the address bar, users can verify how secure their connection to a website is. You can get information about how many trackers are blocked, check and delete cookies and allow location, camera, and microphone instantly.

Improved Navigation

Samsung Internet navigation became easier in version 18.0, which introduced text extraction from web images and a bottom toolbar for the first time in the Galaxy Z Fold series. Now, Samsung Internet 19.0 Beta is making web browsing more comfortable.

The new beta allows add-ons to work in Secret Mode, so users don’t have to choose between privacy and customized experiences. You can easily toggle these features on and off from the add-ons menu.

Users of Samsung Internet can sync users’ bookmarks between PC Chrome browser and Samsung Internet mobile browser using the Chrome extension of Samsung Internet. After testing the beta build, Samsung will release Internet 19.0 stable in 4Q 2022.
