Samsung is set to release the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable smartphones at Galaxy Unpacked next week. Ahead of the launch, Amazon revealed official press shots that showed the Galaxy Z Fold 4 featuring Android 12L taskbar.
In addition to the Android 12L feature, press shots also reveal a new design and case in the “beige” colorway of the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Furthermore, the external display of the Fold 4 seems to be 6.2-inches wide with a 23.1:9 screen ratio, while Fold 3 is the same at 6.2-inches with a 25:9 aspect ratio.

Talking about the internal display, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 sports the same 7.6-inch display as the Galaxy Z Fold 3, but the aspect ratio has changed to 21.6:18. The official images also reveal that the company has worked on the design effectively as the Fold 4’s body features a slim hinge.
The bottom-mounted taskbar feature of Android 12L confirms that Samsung is bringing major software optimizations with the next-gen foldable. Introduced by Google, Android 12L brings a bottom taskbar that may sport some apps that allows for seamless switching between apps and faster multitasking.
