Samsung on August 10, 2022 unveiled One UI 4.1.1 alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4. Last week, the company started rolling out this major update to non-foldable Galaxy devices, with the Galaxy S22 series becoming the first non-foldable device. To get One UI 4.1. Now, new information reveals the release date of One UI 4.1.1 for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3.

According to the community manager, Samsung will release the One UI 4.1.1 update based on Android 12 for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 on September 13. In addition to the One UI 4.1.1 features, the update will roll out August 2022. Security patches to enhance system security and stability.

Furthermore, the community manager also revealed that the update will replace the Google Duo app with the Google Meet app. After updating the Google Meet app, the Google Duo icon will automatically replace with the Meet icon.

On September 13, the Android 13-based One UI 4.1.1 update will initially be rolled out to Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 users in Canada. After that, the company will expand this update to more regions.

Samsung One UI 4.1.1 brings a bundle of new features and improvements which include taskbar appearance, app name in edge panel, text extraction feature, smart suggestions, new calling options, lock screen wallpaper, and more.
