Samsung Galaxy S24 series pre-orders reaches 1.2 million units in South Korea

According to latest information, Samsung Galaxy S24 series pre-orders have reached about 1.2 million units in South Korea. The company will close the pre-order window for Korean consumers today, with a release set to happen on January 31. Notably, the S24 series Korea pre-orders are likely to achieve a new record among all S series.

It’s worth noting that the pre-orders for the Galaxy S24 series are expected to exceed 1.1 million units and approach 1.2 million units. The previous Galaxy S23 series sold 1.09 million units, the S22 series sold 1.01 million units, and the S21 sold 800,000 units.

As Samsung closes pre-orders for the Galaxy S24 series today, customers who pre-book can receive and activate products sequentially from tomorrow, with the official sale happening on 31st. Pre-order sales are going smoothly, with various benefits being offered at Samsung stores, carrier stores, and online channels.

In the Samsung.com live sale held on the first day of pre-sale, the stock sold out in 1 hour and 30 minutes. Pre-reserve applications are also flocking to mobile carriers that announced a public subsidy of 240,000 won in South Korea.

SK Telecom announced that pre-order sales for the Galaxy S24 slightly exceed those of its predecessor. The number of visitors to T Factory, where product experiences are available, has increased by 42% compared to the previous week, showing strong interest.
