Samsung is rolling out the September 2022 security update for the Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones in Europe. The update improves system security and stability by installing the latest Android patch released in September 2022.

- Galaxy Note 20 5G – N986BXXS5FVH7
According to Samsung’s official support page, the September 2022 security patch details reveal fixes for various privacy and security-related issues and vulnerabilities that affect the user’s experience. This brings improvements for 21 high levels and 3 medium levels of CVE.
The update is currently rolling out in European countries including Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia Spain, the UK, and more. This is an early rollout so it may take a few hours/days to reach all devices.
Users of Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra can manually install the update through a few easy steps. First, go to Settings >> Tap on Software Update >> Click on Download and Install. If there is an update, you can see it on the screen. Now, you have to follow the on-screen instructions.
