Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series users in the US have started getting their first software update with March 2023 Android security patch after the One UI 5.1 installation.
This update for corresponding devices fixes dozens of security bugs in Android OS and One UI. However, the latest update does not accompany any noticeable changes for the Galaxy Note 20 smartphones but it amplifies the performance.

According to the official details, March 2023 update brings fixes for 23 issues belonging to Samsung software that further sweetens One UI apps and services. Specifically, the company resolves problems in Bluetooth, function drivers, Galaxy Themes, Samsung Keyboard, System UI, and other One UI services.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra smartphones are getting March 2023 security update on several network carriers in the US. For carrier locked version, the update is pushed on Sprint, T-Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile.
On the other side, unlocked Galaxy Note 20 variants grabbing this update on AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Comcast, Cricket, C-Sphire, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile’s network.

If you haven’t already received the OTA update notification, expect to get it in the next day or so. The rollout happens rapidly so it shouldn’t be long before you’re able to get the update. You can manually check the update via your device’s Settings, Download and install option under Software Updates.
