The latest leak regarding Samsung’s upcoming true wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 3 and 3 Pro, originated from an unexpected source: Samsung’s app. Last week, tech insider Evan Blass offered a glimpse of the Galaxy Buds Pro design, hinting at an AirPods-like aesthetic. This information has now been corroborated by a Samsung app’s diagnostic section, which includes icons for both the Galaxy Buds 3 and 3 Pro – icons featuring a very familiar silhouette, as discovered by tech enthusiast @RydahDoesTech.

The app icons depict the Galaxy Buds 3 and 3 Pro alongside other devices, utilizing minimalist line art. The new earbuds in these images showcase stems, bearing a striking resemblance to Apple’s AirPods. In fact, without accompanying descriptions, one could easily mistake the diagrams for Apple’s product.

There’s more to the Galaxy Buds 3 upgrade than just a cosmetic shift, however. The Pro version is rumored to boast a two-tone color scheme alongside the aforementioned stem design. This design choice by Samsung is believed to contribute to an overall improvement in product quality. Additionally, the Buds 3 Pro is expected to house a larger battery to support new AI features. The most exciting rumors surrounding the Pro version include the possible inclusion of Adaptive Noise Cancellation with Adaptive EQ and a new feature called “Blade Lights.”
