The Android 13-based One UI 5.0 is the first major software update for the Galaxy A73 smartphone that rolls out alongside the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 software. The new OS upgrade undoubtedly brings a lot of new features that are sure to provide a premium experience for owners of these mid-range devices.

One UI 4.1’s Color Palette feature was already impressive, and One UI 5.0, with 16 palettes, just got even better. On the other hand, the company is further expanding its camera capabilities and introducing new features that will enable users to take great photos and videos with the Galaxy A73’s 108MP camera.

Furthermore, the One UI 5.0 update installs Stack widgets, per-app language, Lockdown mode, new multitasking gestures – swipe for split screen and swipe for pop-up window, the ability to disable RAM Plus, Extract text from image feature, and many more.

Meanwhile, for lock screen customization, the company has added new advanced tools that allow you to personalize every element of the screen. Additionally, System Settings will get three new menus so that you can manage all relevant settings in one place – Connected devices, Modes and Routines, and Security and Privacy.

The user interface of the One UI 5.0 software has also undergone subtle changes. There are new app icons, smoother animations, faster performance, more prominent Quick settings and Notification panels, and more.
