Samsung Galaxy A52 update

Samsung begins releasing the One UI 5.1 update for Galaxy A52 5G smartphone users in the UK. The new One UI version has already been rolled out to thousands of Galaxy A52 users in other countries.

Debited with the Galaxy S23 series last month, the Android 13-based One UI 5.1 software enhances the Camera, Gallery, Samsung Internet, Samsung Notes, Widgets, Wallpapers, Bixby Text Call, and multitasking features.

With this release, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G customers are also getting the February 2023 security patch. It fixes more than 50 vulnerabilities, including a few critical ones. The software version for Galaxy A52 One UI 5.1 update in the UK is A526BXXU2EWB1.

Galaxy A52 will also get Android 14:

Samsung launched the Galaxy A52 smartphone in March 2021. The device came with great specifications and the Android 11-based One UI 3 software. Later it got access to Android 12 and is currently driving the Android 13 operating system.

Since the Samsung Galaxy A52 is eligible for three major Android upgrades, it will also get a chance to install the upcoming Android 14 update and its new features. The company is likely to begin the first beta of Android 14-based One UI 6.0 software sometime in August, meanwhile, the stable update could come in October or November 2023.

One UI 5.1 features:

The One UI 5.1 software is not as big as the One UI 5.0, still, there’s a lot to talk about. For the Gallery app, it brings a common family album for easier sharing, more powerful searches for a specific person, a convenient information display in horizontal mode, improved handling, and more.

Meanwhile, for the Camera app, the update makes it easy to change the color tone of selfies through the effects button on the side of the screen. At the same time, the Bixby Text Call feature is now available in the English language, Samsung Internet now supports continuing browsing on another device, and Samsung DeX is getting multiple improvements for easier multitasking.

Aside from these, major changes can also be detected in the Widgets section. It has a new Battery widget that shows the battery status of your phone and other connected devices at a glance. Whereas, the Weather widget and the Smart suggestion widget are also getting meaningful improvements.
