Samsung’s September 2022 Android security update is reaching a bunch of Galaxy smartphones as of now. last week, Samsung released a new update for the Galaxy S21 series, meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A33 are becoming the latest phones to grab the September 2022 update.
As per the new information, the Galaxy A33 September security patch is currently rolling out in Malaysia. The updated firmware version comes with A336EDXU4AVH9 and a massive update package size of 762MB.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A52 September 2022 update is rolling out in Brazil and it can be recognized via One UI build version A52BXXS1CVH7 and can be installed in 230MB.

It should be mentioned that there is no major software change happening in both device. These updates only install fixes for system security to protect your phone from bugs and viruses and keep your files safe.
Meanwhile, enhancing the stability of the system is also the primary task of this update. This ensures that you will not face any issues like crashes and lagging so that you can use your device uninterruptedly.

In addition, the September patch for the Galaxy A33 comes with upgrades for a bunch of stock apps. As soon as your phone is updated, all these applications will also be upgraded to their latest version. However, what changes are coming, it is not mentioned in the changelog.
Worth noting is that the list of applications includes Galaxy Wearables, Samsung Global Goals, Samsung Notes, Samsung Internet, Samsung Health, SmartThings, Samsung Members, Calculator, Smart Switch and Voice Recorder.

Samsung also mentioned fixing more than two dozen privacy and security-related issues and vulnerabilities in its September 2022 patch description. These include 21 high-level and 3 medium-level CVEs and 29 One UI SVE items from Google.
