After rolling out for the carrier-locked models of Galaxy A52, the December 2022 security update is now expanding for unlocked variants of Samsung Galaxy A52 5G in the US. However, the firm has also begun the rollout of the January 2023 update for some devices.

According to the information, the carrier-unlocked variant users of Samsung Galaxy A52 5G will be able to identify the latest update through One UI build version A526USQS7DVL1. On the other side, the carrier-locked variant got the update with the version you can check here.
Moving on, the December 2022 security update aims to improve the security and stability of your device and further optimize the overall user interface for better performance. It also resolves some common bugs and issues with your device.
The update didn’t conclude here, as its details also mention fixes for a total of 91 exploits and vulnerabilities including 5 critical, 26 high, and 2 moderate levels of CVEs alongside 56 SVEs from Google and Samsung software.
Notably, the latest firmware is currently rolling out on T-Mobile and MetroPCS, however, it will expand to the remaining users soon.
