Samsung has kicked off a new update to the Galaxy A24 smartphone, which installs the latest Android security patch released in June 2023 to improve system security. In addition, the update also enhances stock camera functions.
June 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy A24 smartphone comes with PDA version A245FXXU2AWE6 and an installation package of around 413.65 MB. At the moment, the update is rolling out in India and could expand to more models soon.
The latest software includes the June 2023 Android security patch, which fixes several issues to improve the security and stability of the device. The patch resolves over 50 flaws containing 3 critical and 47 high-level common vulnerability exposures related to CC Mode, Exynos, and Knox ID.
It is a regular security patch so it does not include any new features or changes except security and camera improvements. Furthermore, the latest firmware updates several stock apps such as Samsung AR Zone, Notes Adds-ons Galaxy Wearable, Free, Notes, Internet, Health, Wallet, Galaxy Shop, Members, Calculator, Smart Switch, and Voice Recorder to the new version.
Users of the Galaxy A24 can check for the update manually by going to Settings >> Software update >> Download and install. If you have received the update then you can install it by following the on-screen instructions.
