Samsung is currently the king of the foldable smartphone market and with the launch of Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galax,y Z Flip 5 it has achieved a high market share during the third quarter of 2023. But, the Samsung foldable smartphone market share is expected to fall in Q4 2023.
According to the information of DSCC, the Samsung foldable smartphone market has achieved a 72% growth in the third quarter of this year, but the sales are forecasted to fall around just 42% in Q4 2023, following new launches from competitors like Huawei and more.
It’s worth mentioning that, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 was the best-selling foldable smartphone in Q3 2023, achieving a market share of 45%. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 had a 24% market share during the same quarter. However, for the whole 2023 year, the total sales of foldable smartphones are expected to reach 15.8 million units, which is a rise of 23% compared to last year.
