Samsung Emojis gets makeover with One UI 6 on Galaxy devices

Samsung Emojis One UI 6

In today’s conversations, emojis play an important role, and to elevate the Galaxy device owner’s experience, Samsung has given a makeover to emojis with One UI 6 based on the Android 14 software version.

It means emojis that appear in your messages, social media posts, and elsewhere on your phone have been updated with a fresh new design. This change is currently live on Galaxy S23 and will be applicable on more Galaxy devices running One UI 6 or later.

As per the details, the One UI 6 brings 118 new emojis from Emoji 15.1. This update mainly revises the designs of each emoji within the smiley, food, and animal categories. However, the majority of the altered emoji include people, gestures, and several notable symbols.

Also, this new iteration of One UI is the first software to introduce Unicode’s latest emoji recommendations, similar to One UI 5.0. It also adds support for a selection of various People Holding Hands emoji combinations, derived from 2019’s Emoji 12.1.

Users who will upgrade their Galaxy device to One UI 6 powered on Android 14 will be able to experience overhauled emoji sets to elevate the online conversation experience and express their views accurately.
