On 13 May 2022, Samsung is going to hold its first 6G forum with experts in academia and the technology industry to discuss the next-generation communication technology.

“The Next Hyper-Connected Experience for All”, will be the title of this where the industry experts from all over the world will join together to discuss 6G connectivity and Artificial Intelligence-based capabilities of 6G.
The president and head of Samsung research Sebastian Seung say” We envision that 6G will provide ultimate experiences for humans and everything through the next level of hyper-connectivity, and this idea serves as the foundation of our 6G vision.”
Moreover, Samsung is working dedicatedly towards the commercialization of 5G technology, and pushing forward its efforts to standardize the next-gen 6G communication technology by 2025.
If 6G is launched it will enable the immersive extended reality such as metaverse, high fidelity mobile holograms, and the digital replica, that are seen in the science fiction movies. Samsung called this a future unforeseen investment in the communication business and also called it the growth engine for the future.
