Samsung Electronics was working on the slideable display for a long time and now it seems like the wait is over because the firm has recently developed a new extremely innovative OLED display that combines a foldable and a slidable display in one.

According to new information, Samsung could unveil this new innovation of foldable and slidable display at CES 2023 in Las Vegas on the 5th. To be mentioned, this is the world’s first organic lighting emitting diode (OLED) which combines foldable and slidable into one.
This new combination of foldable and slidable displays is reportedly called a hybrid panel, once this screen is unfolded the additional part of the screen comes out as a slider and forms an additional screen that comes out when one end is pulled.
Talking about the overall measurements the size of the display is 8 inches when the screen is fully folded and 10 inches when it is unfolded. It is known that it can be expanded up to 12.4 inches when it is increased by a sliding method. However, the display is reportedly called a hybrid panel.
Notably, this hybrid technology-powered device will be manufactured for users who want to combine their work of smartphone, tablet, and laptop in one device. Also, currently, it’s unclear when Samsung Electronics will start its manufacturing.
