Samsung Australia offering free repair for customers having firmware update glitch  

Samsung users reported a firmware glitch on their devices just after installing the latest update all their data was wiped and their device screen turns to blank. Samsung took this glitch into consideration and now comes up with a solution in Australia.

According to the information, Samsung is offering free repair for those customers who are having this firmware update glitch and the company also says that the users will get a refund if they have charged for this glitch in any of the Samsung official service centers.

For the recall, this glitch was particularly found in Galaxy devices of the users residing in South Australia, however, the reason is still unknown why this issue only affected this particular region. But the good thing is that the users will now get a solution for this very serious problem.

Moving on, Samsung Australia recommends Galaxy users to visit the nearest Samsung service center to get fixed this issue the Korean tech giant also mentioned that the service will be provided free of cost and they also get their money back if they invested in fixing this firmware bug.

Samsung Australia said – 

  • Customers who take their device to a Samsung authorized service center and are confirmed to be affected by this issue will not be charged for any repairs relating to this issue, regardless of the Samsung Express warranty period,
  • If they have previously been charged by a Samsung authorized service center for repairs relating to this particular issue, they will be refunded for that work.”
