Samsung recently released the second One UI 5.0 beta update for Galaxy devices in various markets. With the second beta, the company fixed several bugs and issues with the 2nd One UI 5.0 beta, however, a known issue has been published on the Samsung Members app with a temporary fix related to the Galaxy Watch software update.
Through a member app, Samsung shared information about a known issue in One UI 5.0 beta that restricts users to update the Galaxy Watch firmware. It appears that an unwanted bug is preventing the Galaxy Watch software version from being transferred from the phone to the wearable.

Meanwhile, it is worth noting that the problem only occurs while the device is connected to mobile data. If you connect to a Wi-Fi network, you’ll be able to update your Galaxy Watch’s software. As this issue has been acknowledged, the third beta will include a solution to this problem.
Furthermore, the Samsung Members app notice mentions that this is a known issue, which may affect all One UI 5.0 beta participants. As the company has already acknowledged the error and provided a temporary fix, beta members are advised not to file an error report for this issue.
