Samsung Electronics joins hands with EvLoop to make charging monitor of EVs possible with SmartThings. This feature allows users to better manage and monitor their electric vehicles.

Using the SmartThings app on their Samsung smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, TVs, and even refrigerators, users can stay better informed about the charging of their EVs.

Samsung says,

  •  EV charger integration will allow users to track the energy consumed by their electric vehicles and efficiently manage the charging of compatible cars.
    • For example, they can start charging their electric car during non-peak hours through automation features offered by the SmartThings app and platform.
  • This will bring cost-saving benefits while also improving lead on the electricity grid.
