Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is the latest foldable termed as the fourth generation foldable which comes pre-installed on One UI 4.1.1 based on Android 12L and costs $1799. Now you will get shocked to know that its manufacturing cost is only $670.

According to information, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 which is the most expensive mainstream smartphone of the Korean tech giant only costs $670 to assemble which is about 40% of the device’s selling price and this figure is carried out from a teardown process.

The teardown further reveals that the components used in Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 mostly belong to the home country Korea. Hence this indicates the reason to offer a more affordable range of smartphones with a high-profit margin.

The report clearly shows us that Samsung has an elevated profit margin in the foldable phone lineup. Whereas, Apple which is criticized for its bold pricing, could have a lower profit margin on its flagship smartphone compared to Samsung’s foldable.
