Google started Android 13 Beta 3.2 rollout for Pixel users

Android 13 is under beta testing whereas Google is all set to release its stable version for the users in the next two months. Recently, the company released the 3rd Beta of the new operating system, followed by an incremental 3.1 patch with bug fixes.

Google has now started rolling out the Android 13 Beta 3.2 update to Pixel smartphone users who joined the Beta program. The Beta 3.2 build bears a package size of 275MB and brings fixes for some major issues that were left with the 3.1 patch update.

Changelog:

  • Fixed an issue where the back gesture wasn’t working in some apps.
  • Fixed an issue where the At a glance settings page would collapse inconsistently when scrolling.
  • Fixed an issue where some apps would crash instantly on opening.
  • Fixed an issue where the microphone would turn on and off unexpectedly during unrelated use of the device.
  • Fixed an issue where the Google Photos app would crash frequently.

Aside from the bug fixes the Android 13 Beta 3.2 retains support for the Pixel Launcher’s “Always show keyboard” option, as well as adding an updated Lens icon in the Search bar, and better logic for when you see the vibration icon in your status bar.
