Apart from this, the expert also said that it is mandatory to meet the requirement otherwise the devices cannot upgrade to Android 13. From now on, the next Android devices that will come preinstalled with Android 13 will definitely have at least 2GB of RAM and 16GB of RAM. Flash storage.
Android devices that are eligible for Android 13 as per OEM update policies, but don’t meet Google’s update minimum hardware requirement, will also not receive the Android 13 update.
This is not the first time that Google is removing pre-loaded GMS due to low RAM. In the year 2022 also, Google had told the need to install Android 11 that devices with less than 512MB of RAM will not have GMS.
