Samsung has started the deliveries of the pre-ordered Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 flagships from today. Consumers are overjoyed as the devices are now reaching their doorsteps, whereas, we just noticed that two green lines appear on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 cover display, questioning Samsung’s manufacturing process.
Concept maker HoiINDI shared its concern via a Twitter post, posting the Galaxy Z Fold 4‘s faulty cover display, which shows two green parallel lines. He noticed the issue while setting up the device as the video posted shows the first impression of the initial setup interface.

As per his claim, Samsung has declined the replacement for the recently given Galaxy Z Fold 4, hence, he managed to warn users to re-examine the cover display issue. At the time of writing, Samsung remained silent on the matter, while the thread is now getting more user reports for the same issue as no one wants an issue-packed flagship that costs $1799.
You can check the video and screenshots in HoiINDI’s Twitter post below:

Since the screenshots are clearly pointing to a manufacturing defect on the cover display of the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Samsung should listen to the consumer’s concern and go ahead with the replacement at the earliest. As of now, the mistake has been noticed by only one buyer, but looking at the Twitter post the graph may go up, and will certainly have a bad effect on sales.
Green lines on Galaxy, are not a new thing:
Several Samsung phones have been reported to have a green tint or green line issue on the display. While the Galaxy S20 models are influenced by green, the S10 FE had a ghostly touch. The company claimed that it had fixed defects such as green tint or lines through a software update, but the reality is not the same.
Well, Samsung will not spare its consumers to provide after-sales support. The company may be facing supply issues due to the large number of pre-orders. Support is advising buyers to visit nearby service centers, leaving consumers angry about the service.
