The Google Play Store recently got a new logo which is a slightly modified version of the previous one. It first appeared on apps like Google Pay and Google Play app. Now the new Google Play Store logo started appearing on the notification.
The new Google Play Store logo looks like an inside-out version of the old one in notifications. The notification panel displays a transparent symbol of the logo showing only its outline in green, while the other four colors are not visible.

Similar to the previous notification icons of the application, the new one also has a simple and neutral feel. It looks really cool in the notification box because it doesn’t look messy. This differs from some other recent Google redesigns, which highlight color saturation.

At first glance, you might not find any difference between the new and old logo of the Play Store application. However, a closer look will show you the difference in the corners as they are much more rounded than the predecessor.
Additionally, the four colors – green, blue, red, and yellow – also align more closely, which is a clear trend and sequence of recent corrections.
