Verizon-locked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 devices have started collecting the One UI 5.1 update in the United States. The update initially rolled out in Germany a few days back.
This update installs a bundle of new features and enhancements to the Camera, Gallery, Wallpaper, Widgets, and multitasking to improve productivity, convenience, and creativity (via SammyFans).
At the same time, it also carries the February 2023 security patch to boost the security and stability of the devices. It optimizes the One UI apps and functions to provide a bug-free experience to the customers.

Users of Verizon-bounded Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G can identify the latest update through version F916USQU2JWB5. Currently, the update is rolling out in the US. However, the company will soon make this major update available for all Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G customers worldwide.
You can manually install this software update on your Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G device by visiting Settings >> System Update >> Download and Install. Follow the on-screen instructions, Restart your device and it’s done.
Before you start installing, make sure to connect your device to a Wi-Fi network or it has a strong Verizon wireless network connection and your device battery must be fully charged before starting the software update.

One UI 5.1 is a minor version upgrade over One UI 5.0 but it brings meaningful improvements for the consumers. From camera and gallery to widgets and new personalization tools, the new software has plenty of fruitful stuff.
It provides easy access to Expert RAW directly from the stock camera to lets you capture more details, from dark areas to bright areas, in one photo.
You can now stay aware of the battery status of all connected devices such as smartwatches and earbuds along with the phone itself. The weather widget now displays enhanced graphical animations so you can get connected with weather status at a glance.
Gallery app now lets you search for people by just tapping the face icon, similar to Google Photos. Another function Samsung Gallery is adapting from the Google Photos app is the details interface of images as it now shows even more details derived from EXIF data.
