Samsung debuted One UI 4.1.1, a new stable One UI iteration based on Android 12 OS, with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. Released on August 10, these devices will start shipping to consumers on August 26, while the Verizon update is already rolling out One UI 4.1.

According to Verizon new firmware updates have been rolled out for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphones in the US, aimed at enhancing the One UI 4.1.1 software. This means that pre-order consumers will get a new FOTA immediately after setting up the Galaxy Z Fold 4 or Flip 4 for the first time.
Notably, Galaxy Z Fold 4 users can identify the July 2022 patch update via build version F936USQU1AVGA, while it sports F721USQU1AVGA for the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Well, the July 2022 security patch is not the star of the show as an OTA. Google merges Duo with Google Meet.
Earlier, Google started upgrading the Duo experience to include all the useful features of the Google Meet app. After the update installation, Google Duo will be replaced with the new Google Meet app, which can also be downloaded from the Play Store. This change is likely to have been in the pre-installed One UI 4.1.
In addition, the update changelog mentions performance improvements for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 devices.
