Verizon is releasing a new One UI update for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 devices in the US, which installs the latest December 2023 Android security patch. Installing the firmware will ensure that your second-generation foldable phone is protected with the most recent security protocols.

It also provides increased security for the system, ensuring that user’s data and sensitive information remain safe and secure. In addition, the update will also resolve over 60 vulnerability exposures from Google and Samsung to maintain the device’s reliability and protection.
To be mentioned, the December 2023 update is already live for unlocked models of Galaxy Z Fold 2, and it’s currently rolling out for the carrier-locked units on the Verizon network in the US. To download the latest update visit Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
