Samsung is dispatching the Android 14-based One UI 6 major software update for the unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 5 users on the T-Mobile network in the US. To be mentioned, the update is live in various countries and will expand to remaining users in the coming days.
Based on Android 14 the One UI 6 brings a bundle of prominent features such as a new layout in the quick panel, improved taskbar, better multitasking, new emoji design, optimized home and lock screen functionalities, new features in camera mode, and more.
In addition, the update also brings the November 2023 Android security patch, to maintain the reliability of the clamshell device. Simultaneously, the consumers of the unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 5 model can identify the One UI 6 update via the build version ending with BWK9.
The update is rolling out gradually, thus, it may take some time to reach every eligible unit. In case you don’t want to wait for the OTA, then, download the latest version manually through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
