Multitasking Gestures
With the help of the One UI 5.0 Multitasking gesture, you can swipe from the top corner towards the middle of the display to open any app in a pop-up view. Eventually, you can swipe up with two fingers from the bottom of the screen. And this gesture will let you bring up the app drawer when you are already running two apps in split-screen mode.
Different Call Backgrounds for each contact
The One UI 5.0 update brings some advancements to the previous call background options, with the One UI 5.0 call background feature you get the ability to set individual call backgrounds. That means, instead of setting up a single background for all contact, you can choose to set different backgrounds for each of your contacts which helps users to recognize the caller more easily.
Improved Stacked Widgets
One UI 5.0 brings a customized version of Smart widgets in the form of stackable widgets. Now, instead of having to go through the widgets menu to add a smart widget, you can simply drag and drop a widget of a similar size over another widget and this is not limited to a single size. Further, you can even drag and drop and create a stack.
Camera Watermark
One UI 5.0 offers the option to add a watermark to your photo from the Samsung Camera app itself. The feature is available inside the camera app settings, you can now insert details like the date, time, and your model name, where you can add any other text. When it comes to design, you can choose from three different fonts and even change the text alignment.
Per-App Language
One UI 5.0 comes with per-app language settings that help you set different languages for individuals. This feature best help in situations when you might be fluent in one language but not so proficient in another. Notably, this feature is only available for a few apps right now.
