Tech enthusiasts rejoice! The current generation of Samsung’s foldable phones has been registered with the Chinese 3C certification authority Inside Gadgets as the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. This drip could provide some juicy information on the types of advanced functions of these upcoming devices.
The certification leads to the model numbers of both phones (SM-F9560 for the Fold 6 and SM-F7410 for the Flip 6) and indicates support for 25 W fast charging. This isn’t the biggest upgrade over previous models but it may be available in time.
Secondly, the Safety Korea product certification suggests that it will also have dual-cell batteries. However, it will not be disclosed how each cell will be used in the battery.
Furthermore, the gossip mill starts spreading more rumors about the incident. The upcoming Z Flip 6 may additionally support a larger 3.9-inch cover display which will be useful for users who often receive notifications or view widgets without opening the device. The 6.7-inch rotating screen from the Flip5 is expected to be reused. For photography lovers, the news about the dual camera on the Flip 6 could be useful which will come with a 50 MP main lens and a 12 MP secondary lens.
Like the Galaxy Fold 6 with a bezel-free titanium frame that is reminiscent of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the Fold 6 should also incorporate this design philosophy. These rumors are being strengthened by the fact that it may have three color variants light pink, dark blue, and silver.
The leaks only offer a glimpse of those unlocked, as of today, the unofficial specifications and features are still awaiting more clarification. Stay tuned for more news to be published as Samsung announces the launch of these world-changing foldable phones.
