Samsung is gearing up for its annual Developer Conference (SDC24) on October 3, where it is expected to officially unveil the One UI 7 update, based on Android 15. Following this event, Galaxy devices are anticipated to start receiving the update, with the rollout beginning as early as late October.

Expected Rollout Schedule

Late October to November: The One UI 7 update will first reach the latest Samsung flagship devices. The initial wave will likely include the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6. As November approaches, Samsung will expand the rollout to other flagship models like the Galaxy S23, S22, and S21 series, along with some of the company’s popular mid-range models.

November to December: By late November, the update is expected to reach the Galaxy A and M series, along with several Galaxy Tab models. This broader rollout will continue into December, covering a wide range of devices.

Eligible Devices

The following devices are expected to receive the One UI 7 update:

  • Galaxy Z Series: Z Flip 3, 4, 5, 6; Z Fold 3, 4, 6.
  • Galaxy S Series: S21 (including FE), S22, S23 (including FE), S24.
  • Galaxy Tab Series: Tab A9/A9+, Tab Active 4 Pro, Tab S8/S8+/S8 Ultra, Tab S9/S9+/S9 Ultra.
  • Galaxy A Series: A05s, A15, A25, A35, A55, A14, A24, A34, A54, A33, A53, A73.
  • Galaxy M and F Series: M14, F14, M34, M54, F54, M15, M35, M55, F15, F55.

Please note that this schedule is based on Samsung’s previous rollout patterns and may change.

Ineligible Devices

Not all Samsung devices will receive the One UI 7 update. The following models have reached the end of their update lifecycle and will not be eligible:

  • Galaxy A Series: A04s, A13, A23, A72, A52, A52 5G, A52s.
  • Galaxy M Series: M53 5G, M33 5G, M23.
  • Galaxy F Series: F23.
