Here’s some sad news for those, who use Video Library to organize their videos more seamlessly on Galaxy devices, as Samsung has decided to end update and compatibility support for the application starting in 2024. Let’s delve into the details and check out the exact matter.
As per the information, the Korean tech giant has announced that it will discontinue the update and compatibility support for its Samsung Video Library app from January 1, 2024, and focus on other apps and platforms that offer better services and experiences for its users.
It means the app will no longer receive new features and services through updates and compatibility with new OS versions. The tech giant stated that, this application has a low usage and activation rate and that it is hard to differentiate it from other video apps.
But the good part in all this is that the app will still work on the devices and OS versions that are compatible with it until the end of 2023. After that, the app will not receive any new features and services which might let users encounter issues or errors while using the app.
