Samsung Electronics has established a service integration with Tesla, which will be showcased at CES 2024 and will connect SmartThings Energy to Tesla products such as Powerwall home batteries, Solar Inverter, Wall Connector charging solutions, and electric vehicles.
As per the details, this collaboration has become possible through Tesla’s open APIs and will result in further expansion of SmartThings Energy, which contributes to Samsung’s ultimate goal of enabling more convenient, seamless home experiences for consumers.
To be mentioned, the utilization of the Tesla API is part of Samsung’s continual drive toward making substantial progress on the Net Zero Home project and enhancing the multi-device experience of SmartThings users. However, the SmartThings Energy connected to the Tesla Powerwall will be first shown via Samsung at CES 2024 and the actual service is currently in development and is targeted to launch in the second quarter of 2024.
