Samsung has finally begun the rollout of the January 2024 Androud security update for Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra devices. However, the update is live for other S series devices including Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, and two Fan Editions.
The latest January 2024 update will enhance the security and stability grades of your flagship devices and improve their core mechanism, ensuring a more seamless performance. It will also resolve 75 CVEs and 5 SVE items from Google and Samsung to maintain device reliability.
Consequently, the January 2024 update for Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra devices has arrived with a One UI build version G981BXXSIHWL1, G986BXXSIHWL1, and G988BXXSIHWL1 respectively.
Also, the patch is currently released in some European countries including Switzerland, and will expand to more region users in the coming days. To check and install the patch manually visit Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
