Samsung expanding the reach of the January 2023 security update for more users of Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra in the US. The update was earlier rolled out for the carrier-unlocked models of the device and it’s now live for Verizon-locked models.

According to the information, the Samsung January 2023 Android security patch update will improve the security and stability of your Galaxy S22 smartphones in the US and it will further enhance the overall user experience by boosting the performance of your device.
Verizon-locked models of Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra in the United States will be able to determine the latest January 2023 firmware update through One UI build version S901USQS2BVL4, S906USQS2BVL4, and S908USQS2BVL4 respectively.
Other than the common improvements the January 2023 update also brings fixes for a total of 70 exposures and vulnerabilities including 52 CVEs and 20 SVEs from Google and Samsung. It will combinedly bring a more improved interpretation.
The update is currently live in the US, however, the company will expand it for more users in the coming days or weeks. Also, we recommend you to install the latest update as soon as it arrives on your smartphone’s software update section or you can check for it manually-

- Tap on Software Update.
- Hit Downlaod & Install.
